Are you someone who loves to give back to the community? Likes to garden or have a green thumb? Want to connect with alumni in the region? This is the perfect event for you and your family!

Join the CU Capital District Alumni Chapter at the Regional Food Bank's Patroon Land Farm to assist with seed starting, weeding, planting, harvesting, and more! 
 
About the Regional Food Bank and Patroon Land Farm: 
The Regional Food Bank, in partnership with the Patroon Land Foundation, manages a sustainable farm that grows large quantities of high-quality vegetables that supplies the Food Bank and 1,000 partnering agencies in 23 counties with diverse, fresh produce to people in need. When: June 7th from 1-4pm
Where: Patroon Land Farm (153 Ketcham Rd Voorheesville, NY 12186)

Important notes about volunteering: 
  • Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes and clothes they don't mind getting a little dirty
  • Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult
